CLONDALKIN KIDS CHESS CAMP 03 - 05 JULY

About this Camp:

The Clondalkin Chess Camp is a 3-day summer camp for kids from age 7-16 up to and including TY students.  The camp will involve expert chess coaching, daily tournaments and analysis of students’ games in Irish and English.

This camp is open to kids who already know the basic rules of the game and aims to help Experienced Beginners and Intermediate Strength Players to get their game to the next level.  All the kids compete in the same competition at the end of each day, and there are prizes for the winners and the most improved players, so everyone has a chance to win!

As a bonus, every child that enrolls in a Chess Bud Kids Camp this summer will receive an account in Mark’s online coaching portal from the 1st of June till the 31st August:

i) Participate in the Weekly Chess Bud Thursday Night Tournament.

ii) Discover exciting new opening ideas in the Playable Annotated Games Database.

iii) Become an endgame expert using the Playable Annotated Endings Database.

iv) Solve puzzles and complete assignments.

v) Play friendly challenge games with your friends in the Game Area anytime!

Note: Mark will be using the games from the online portal tournaments in June/ July to design each day’s camp curriculum so the material covered has a direct relevance to the kids enrolled in that day’s camp.
