ALL ABOUT THIS INTERMEDIATE TO ADVANCED COURSE
THEME: MASTER THE SICILIAN : ATTACKING STRATEGIES FOR WHITE AGAINST BLACK’S MOST DANGEROUS KING’S PAWN DEFENCE
This course is reserved for primary and secondary school students who have have already completed my experienced beginners course or new students with an Online or Over-the-board ICU or FIDE rating between 1000 and 1600 Elo. This course will help kids to bring their chess playing level up to strong intermediate level giving them the tools to go about becoming Advanced Players. Classes include a weekly game against other students, middle-game challenges and in-depth analysis of students’ games.
Tackling the Sicilian Defence and helping each student work out whether they are better playing positional or tactical lines against the Sicilian is the main theme of this course. Students will receive weekly homework in the form of Workbooks on the specific lines explored in class.
There is a maximum of twenty students enrolled in any Chess Bud Online Class so as to enable each student to receive feedback and mentoring during the lesson. Students have access to the Chess Bud Coaching Portal for the duration of the term where they can take part in friendly class tournaments, as well as the fortnightly Chess Bud Rapid Tournaments every second Sunday from 5.30-7.30pm as well as other Bonus LIVE events.
Students can now use the playable annotated games databases in the Portal to build their own opening repertoire and also study key endings through using the annotated endgames database. See the Curriculum page on this website for the breakdown of the Chess Bud Curriculum.

COURSE FEES
60 Euro (10 Euro per student per class)
Each class will run with a minimum of 10 students with a maximum of twenty students per term. If cancelled, a full refund will be issued.
If you out find out about the course, a few weeks into the term . . . No worries! There is continuous enrolment 🙂
You can sign-up mid-way and just pay for the remaining classes.
