Thursday After-School Kids Club – Attack like a Master – Intermediate (1000 – 1400 Elo)

THURSDAY AFTERNOONS (5 – 6 PM)

Course Theme: Learn to Attack Like a Master: Try out a Different Attacking Line Each Week

COURSE DURATION: 6 weeks
COURSE TIMES: 5 – 6pm
COURSE DATES: Jan 16th/ 23rd/ 30th & February 6th/ 13th / 20th 2025
COURSE LEVEL: Primary & Secondary School Kids; Rated 1000 – 1400 ELO 

Students will be given a specific opening line and relevant puzzles to study in advance of each class.    Classes will consist of first analysing middlegame puzzles and then trying out the attacking variation against other students or against IM Mark Quinn in a simul.

COURSE FEES: 60 Euros (10 Euro per student per class)
This course will run with a minimum of 6 students.  If cancelled, a full refund will be issued.

You can sign-up mid-way and just pay for the remaining classes.

The group meets once a week for 60 minutes on Thursday afternoons from  5 – 6pm  This Online class is conducted using Zoom and is reserved for primary and secondary school kids who have been playing over-the-board tournament chess for some time and have an online or over-the-board rating of 1000 – 1400 Elo.

In class, students will have the opportunity to play out a specific middlegame position each week against each other or in a simul against Mark.
