Summer Seminar Series for Kids
Looking to improve your chess this summer? Why not join our series of 3 online seminars per week running over 5 weeks.
Each Seminar is a stand-alone analysis and practical play session dedicated to specific opening variations in The French Defence (Tuesdays), The English Opening (Wednesdays) & The King's Indian Defence (Thursdays).
Our Online Seminars run on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings for 5 weeks starting Tuesday July 9th and running until Thursday August 6th. You can book as many seminars as you like and can join the seminars at any point over the 5 week progam. These seminars are designed for experienced beginner to intermediate strength chess players (Elo 1000-1800).

FRENCH DEFENCE
Dates: July 9th, 16th, 30th & August 6th, 13th & 20th
Time: Tuesdays 9.30am to 1pm
Level: Experienced Beginner to Intermediate (1000 - 1800 online or over-the-board ELO)

9th July- The Tarrasch Variation - 3. Nd2 Attack White's most solid positional line with the dynamic 3...c5!
16th July - The Winawer Variation. Part 1: Strategic Secrets Underpinning Positional Lines after 3. Nc3 Bb4 4. e5 c5 5. a3 Bxc3 6. bxc3 Ne7 7. a4 & 7. h4
30th July: Bringing the fight to white: Strategies to beat the dull exchange (3.exd5) & ultra-solid King's Indian Attack variations (2. Qe2 & 2. d3 d5 3. Nd2 followed by Nf3, g3, Bg2 etc.)
13th August: The Advanced Variation: (3. e5) Essential move-orders, new ideas and critical positions in all black's mainlines against white's most popular try against the French.
20th August: - The Winawer Variation. Part 2: Critical Ideas and Themes in Black's most underrated line against 7. Qg4. Explore the future of the French Winawer after 3. Nc3 Bb4 4. e5 c5 5. a3 Bxc3 6. bxc3 Ne7 7. Qg4 0-0!

KING'S INDIAN DEFENCE
