COURSE THEME:
Attack Like a Master, Defend like a Lion!

COURSE DETAIL:

Each week students are given a puzzle worksheet to study in advance of each class which come from a dangerous white or black attacking opening system. Classes consist of solving the four puzzles and exploring the opening variation they come from.

Students then get to play a weekly themed tournament against each other in Lichess focusing on the opening system under discussion that week. Mentoring is given during tournaments to provide immediate feedback to students on their play and also when tournament games are analysed in class.

Students can play through puzzle solutions in the form of complete annotated games in a dedicated Lichess Study.

COURSE FEES:
70 Euros (10 Euro per student per class)
This course will run with a minimum of 6 students. If cancelled, a full refund will be issued.

The group meets once a week for 75 minutes on Thursday afternoons from 5 – 6.15pm This Online class is conducted using Zoom and is reserved for primary and secondary school kids who have an online or over-the-board rating of 1000 – 1400 Elo. The weekly tournament game is played on lichess.org so students must have a free lichess account to take part in class tournaments
